About A Walk Through Salem.

Chris Dowgin in front of brick wall in the Gulu-Gulu Cafe in Salem Ma. Chris created A Walk Through SalemA Walk Through Salem published by Norge Fore Press (a subsidiary of Salem House) has been made due to in part of funding from the Mass Cultural Council in 2008 and 2009. Our latest fund we received from the counsel will go towards the production of our Storyline.

A Walk Through Salem is a walking tour and fairy tale that depicts Salem in a way never seen before. Utilizing technologies accessible to you cell phone to facilitate your experience through town by providing maps and audio commentary on historic sites and places of wonder. While staying true to traditional framework of the teaching story hidden in every fairy tale. A good blending of the ancient with the modern which is the core of Salem anyway.

About the Author

A Walk Through Salem is the creation of  Christopher Jon Dowgin, a local artist familiar to many of you for the last 15 years. You might of seen his paintings in various cafes and such or been lucky enough to see him paint live in many venues supporting bands such as Bogus Quartet or Capital B. Either small easel, large chalkboards, or the dramatic 6 foot by 9 foot Theatrical Productions. If you are careful, you might spy him in town drawing on the wharf or under a street light on the not so old Cobblestones of Essex Street. Feel free to stop him at anytime to discuss this and more. There is always a welcome seat waiting for you.

Also Chris Dowgin is also the owner of Dowgin Industries, several small businesses including Norge Forge Illumination Studios, Agape Intimate Dinning, and Docspond Counseling Services. His largest project up to date is the erection of Vingolf Banquet Hall to be built in Manchester-by-the-Sea. A Walk Through Salem is the merger of the artistic with the merger with the profit margin for the town it is based in. Look what a small mouse did for Orlando! Like Salem, Orlando had seasonal tourism, but a children's story....Changed it all!
